Has an upward swing plane, an inside-out swing and a two-handed finish; 81 mph exit velocity. In OF, got into position consistently and stayed behind fly balls well; 77 mph position velocity. On the mound, has a slow motion with an unorthodox follow through; located the ball well low in the zone; threw all pitches for strikes. Stayed on top of FB; 74-78 mph FB with a max of 79. Showed control on off-speed pitches; 62-63 mph CB.

Monhollen possesses an average to above average CF arm with accuracy. Quick responses on balls hit to both sides. At the plate the L/L is athletic with some quickness. Attacked a couple of balls out of the zone in the first two at bats that lead to outs. Gap to gap, doubles type hitter at the moment. Could be a threat on the bases.
