2017 Spring Scout Blog:  The Virginia commit pitched a complete game allowing 4H, 0ER.  Early in the game sat 85-88, topping out at 89.  In the last inning held 84-87.  Breaking ball was sharp with depth at 71-74 while the changeup was 77-79 with run. 

6/23/16: 6-foot-5, 185 pound right-hander shows good rhythm with an over the head pump delivery. Works from a long, high 3/4 arm action.  Above average arm speed. Good direction to the plate. Creates good angle on the fastball which was mostly 83-84, sprinkling in a few at 85-86. Topped out at 87.  Flashed several breaking balls with depth at 70-73.  

5/25/16 Game Notes: Threw 7 innings to shut down a very good hitting team in Reitz. His fastball was 84-87 with some slight run. Curveball sat in the 71-73 range with a tight break.  He displayed a very long and loose arm action and had an athletic finish as he was able to get down hill very quickly. He worked around lead off hits and came up with some big pitches to get out of multiple jams.

6/22/15: 6-foot-4, 170 pound righty pitches from a high ¾ to over the top slot with quick arm speed.  Arm action is long and loose. Over the head pump in his drop and drive delivery with good balance.  Smooth rhythm with some effort.  Good line to the plate, athletic finish.  Fastball had good movement at 80-82 and thrown for a strike; cut action.  11/5 breaking ball sat 66-69 with gradual break.
