7/18/17: 60 Time: 8.05, Position Velocity: INF-75, Exit Velocity: 80. 6-foot-1, 220 pound senior swings a big bat from the right side with some pull side pop on the inner half. The RHH hits from a quiet, squatty stance, with a small foot lift to start swing. Hands stay in same position, not separating from the front foot on lift, right off the shoulder. Barrel enters the zone flat and exits with some lift. Physical lower half, but more twitch to develop explosiveness through the baseball. Middle-pull approach with lift. Big bodied first baseman, covers ground off the line with loose arm to throw. Glove works to pick and scoop, needs more bend/flexibility in the lower half. Solid defender around the base.
