2/9/2019: Wyatt Prather, OF/RHP, Bishop Chatard HS, 2020, 6 foot 1, 153 pounds, has good projection in his long lean body and ran a 7.03 at the event. Hits out of an open stance and uses leg lift to load. Gets in a good position to hit and gets on plane well producing consistent solid contact. On the mound, Wyatt threw from a mid ¾ slot and a loose longer arm action which allowed his FB to sit 80-82 with little effort. Slider was short and sat 70-71, CH had arm side fade and sat 78-79, and CB had 11/5 break and sat 75-76. It will be interesting to follow Wyatt as he continues to fill out.
2/24/18: 6-foot-1, 153 pound right-handed pitcher sat 77-79, touching 80 with the fastball. Some downhill plane, inconsistent. Breaking ball has 10/4 shape with earl, gradual break. Some rhythm down the mound, late at times. Short arm action, 3/4 slot. Good balance, some effort with closed shoulders. Hits with good balance and fluid rhythm. Long, level bat path. High exit velocity of 72mph. Hands are average defensively, plays through the baseball. High velocity of 80mph.

6-foot-1, 150 pound sophomore uses athletic setup and rhythm from the right side at the plate to produce line drives middle of the field. Leg lift to load, hands and barrel get in good launch position off the back shoulder with small separation from the front side. Front foot lands slightly open with balance at contact, barrell working slightly under the baseball at a good angle to drive baseball middle of fields. Hands get long at times down before entering the zone, casting away from body, creating inside out swing. Long arm action from the outfield, solid defensively with clean and fluid actions. Delivered accurate throws to the base with average carry. Plays through the baseball well and average glove action to the baseball.
