Swing Mechanics: Utilizes a mini leg kick/hip hinge to initiate his load. Stayed balanced throughout his load and showed good barrel control and strong hands.
Hit: Good bat to ball ability.
Power: 81 mph exit velocity.
Offensive Projection: Showed good barrel control and strong hands at the plate. Show develop into a gap to gap guy as he develops more strength as he matures.
Run: 4.57 home to 1st.
Field: In the infield Peters aggressively attacks the ball with decent angles. Slower release than desired.
Throw: 77 mph across the diamond.
Defensive Projection: Shows some good raw physical tools. Would need to continue to improve arm strength and over fundamentals to stick at SS at the next level.

Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Rhythm through a compact and efficient delivery. Projects the hips, works in line. Uses a short arm action working through a ¾ slot.
Fastball: 74-77 mph fastball with above average run to the arm side.
Curveball: 62-64 mph breaking ball has fairly sharp 11/5 action. Has potential to be a swing a miss pitch.
Changeup: 69-70 mph changeup is thrown with fastball like arm action. Pitch shows some late fading action.
Knuckleball: 65-68 mph knuckleball with light rotation danced around the zone.
Pitchability: Advanced feel for his age. Ability to throw all four of his offerings for strikes with multiple pitches that could be above average to plus in the future.
Role: A starter role is the likely choice at this point. Shows solid command and a clean delivery. Likely to see a velocity improvement as he matures.

Peters’ exit velocity was 75 mph and there is room for improvement as he gets older. He swung with a level path, but need some improvement on staying connected and keeping his hands inside the ball to allow for greater contact. Defensively, he projects as a second base type. Feet tend to get wide and stop momentum when receiving the ball. Short arm action with top velocity of 72 mph across the infield.
