(‘24, Forest Park) In what was Forest Park's first game of the season, Stout would take the ball to start the season and quite literally run with it. Stout would go 5 innings of no run baseball, needing only 56 pitches to do so. Stout appeared to be using very little effort as he sat in the low to mid 80s with pinpoint control. The Southern Indiana commit popped multiple 88s in big situations. The Rangers starter produced mainly weak ground balls, although he did have 5 Ks. Look for the average velo to gradually go up throughout the season for Stout.
