High exit velocity of 88. In the outfield, plays through the ball with fluid footwork and long transfer. Long, loose arm action. Throws up to 87mph. On the mound, he sat 82-83, up to 84. Slight run, commanded to his arm side. Breaking ball has 10/4 shape with some depth at times. short, loose arm swing. Drop and drive delivery. Lands soft, squared. Finishes athletically.
9/20/15: 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, ran a 7.69-60. Possesses sure hands defensively. Moves well, but has the tendency to get flat footed. Plays through the baseball well. From a long, high ¾ arm action was 74 mph from the OF. At the plate hits from a balanced setup, uses a toe tap. Smooth load back, short stride. Possesses hand speed. Gets the bat through the zone on a level path. Pull-side hitter with pop. Recorded a high exit velocity of 86 mph off the tee.
PITCHING- 5-foot-11, 190 pound righty pitches from a high ¾ slot with average arm speed. Arm action is long. Has some rhythm with easy effort in the delivery. Level shoulders and stays in line to the plate. Fastball was 73-74. Breaking ball showed gradual movement at 62-65. Changeup was thrown with fastball arm speed and was straight at 66. Showed a 59-62 mph slider and 63-64 knuckle ball.
