6-foot-2, 165-pound projectable frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 79 mph. Started in a closed stance then had a short stride. Has a flat swing plane. Base hit approach. In the infield, recorded a position velocity of 74 mph; displayed average hands. Throws from a high ¾ slot.In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.97. On the mound throws from a high ¾ angle. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. A tall balance point. Showed the most control on his curveball (61-65 mph) when he stayed on top. Changeup (67-69 mph) worked best in combination with his fastball. Threw his fastball 77-79 mph with a max of 79 mph; shows in the zone control and some action. Threw a 2/8 slider (64-66).
9/30/18: 2021 RHP/INF. Hits from the right side. Tall setup in the box. Short stride to the baseball with leg lift trigger to start swing. Hands stay inside the baseball with a level bat path through the zone. Does not complete swing sometimes after contact. In the field tends to sit on heels and not play through the baseball. Good accuracy on throws across the diamond. On the mound pitches from high 3/4 arm slot. Good tempo to delivery. Tilt at balance point. Long loose arm stroke. Stays in line to plate. FB sat 70-71 with CB at 59-60.
