8/21/16: The 5 foot 10 165 pound infielder ran a 6.9 60yd dash while showcasing athletic actions defensively.  Young has sure hands with a quick exchange and release.  Throws topped at 81mph across the infield with accuracy.  At the plate, Young hits from an athletic setup.  Found the barrel consistently.  Path is long, level.  Above average bat speed.

6/21/16: The 5 foot 10 160 pound infielder showcases soft hands with quick transfer.  Footwork is quick and throws topped at 79 across the infield.  At the plate, he has a balanced, athletic setup.  Incorporates a slight leg kick and above average usage of the lower half.  Bat speed is above average with a level path.  Exit velocity topped at 85mph.  Nolan ran a 6.84 60yd dash.

7/27/15: 5-foot-9, 155 pounder showcased quick, fluid feet up the middle with soft hands.  Displayed athleticism and plays through the baseball.  Quick release, short arm action across the diamond.  Accurate arm at 77 mph.  At the plate hits out of a wide stance.  Minimal load, short stride.  Average use of the lower half with good balance.  Average bat speed, level path to the baseball.  Consistently hit line drives during BP.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 81 mph.  

Sure handed, young shortstop that has good actions , runs well and can hit to all fields. As he grows physically he will hit for some power.
