6-foot-2, 190 pound catchers hits from open setup, loads and strides to close on toe, pushes hands back beyond the shoulder, creates arm bar and longer hand path to the baseball. Good barrel awareness, produced average bat speed and line drives. Barrel a little steeper and stronger than last time seen, lower half still limited with small over rotation to finish. Pull side approach. Behind the plate, quick footwork, rushed at times, gets caught on front side heel and spins. High OT arm action, delivered pop times 2.07-2.18 around the bag. Hips sit low to catch, happy glove to track pitch, lot of movement receiving the baseball.

6-foot-1, 180 pound junior catcher hits from a big frame from the right side of the plate. Small push of the hands back to load with a small lift and stride forward. Back leg/hip stiff through swing. Barrel travels away and flattens in load, works level to slightly up through extension. Pull side approach, big frame to add strength in swing. Behind the plate, tall to catch and throw, feet work with quick transfer and release. More arm strength to be developed. OT arm action, good release out front. Pop times were 1.94-2.06 around the bag. More hip flex/mobility to sit and block. Struggled to get knees to blocking position, late to anticipate and block.
