6/12/18: 2019 catcher hits from the right side closed tall setup in the box. Short leg lift with stride as trigger with hand load. Hands were loose and quick creating good bat speed through the zone. Bat path showed both level and uphill at times. Showed line drive ability to the gaps. Behind the dish showed good clean exchange and arm strength was slightly above average at 77. Pops ranged from 1.94-2.05.

7/25/17: Home to 1st: 5.03, Position Velocity: C-78, Exit Velocity: 85

6-foot-1, 200 pound junior uses big frame from the right side to generate above average bat speed, showcased some pull side pop with quiet approach. Hand rhythm and waggle with front foot simple small lift to load, gains only small separation with hands loading back. Front foot lands quiet in same spot as lift, landing slightly closed and spins at contact. Hands and barrel load away and off the back shoulder, creating longer path to enter and throughout the zone. Pull approach, looking to lift baseball with front shoulder and hips. Has more strength and explosiveness in back leg. Behind the plate, one hand catch to throw, feet work in good direction to second. Head snap, shoulder twist towards third base resulting in inconsistent ball flight to second base. High OT arm action, stands tall to throw, has more to be developed in throws by staying in lower half. Quiet to receive, left arm choppy and stiff at times to catch inside pitch. Delivered 2.02-2.09 pop times to second base.

7/8/16: 6-foot, 190 pounder was 79-81 with the fastball, up to 82 on multiple occasions.  65-69/70 breaking ball, flashed occasional depth.

6/21/16:
The 6 foot 190 pound catcher showcased an athletic setup with a slight leg kick.  Long hand load back as foot gets down.  Bat speed is fast for age.  Behind the plate, he has a quick transfer and a short arm action.  Throws topped at 73mph.  Pop times ranged between 2.1-2.19.  Nash also ran a 7.75 60yd dash.
