Hippenhammer

FUTURE GAMES 2015: Hippenhammer is a 6-foot, 165-pound athlete with plus speed. At the Top Prospect Games in June, he ran a 6.55-second 60 and followed it up with another 6.55 at the Future Games workout at the end of July. Hippenhammer again showed off his speed against Team Maryland on Day 3 of the Future Games, running a 3.54 down the line on a bunt single. In the field he shows solid actions with quick feet and soft hands. At the plate, he still needs to clean some things up mechanically, but consistently shows quick hands and bat speed. His highest recorded exit velocity is 89 mph from the right side and 85 from the left side. 

6/25/15: The 6-foot 155 pound athletic infielder ran a 6.55 60 yard dash.  Very quick feet.  Solid defensive actions.  Hands are soft and footwork is quick.   Offensively, he produced an exit velocity of 87.  Mac has an open stance with a short stride.  Barrel tends to drag.  Line drive approach, most to opposite field.   Switch hitter at the plate.

5/9/15 GAME NOTES: Athletic player that can play multiple positions.  6 foot tall 165 pounds. He runs a 6.64/60 has above average range to both sides at shortstop and runs the bases like a gazelle.  He has soft reliable hands and enough arm strength to play shortstop in college. Aggressive hitter that hits from both sides of the plate from an open stance and high hands he generates bat speed and will hit for average with projectable power. CLICK HERE for video

2/28/15: 6-foot-0, 165 pounds, 6.64-60, bats switch, throws right. Strong, athletic and projectable. Glider type runner that can hit and hit for power (Exit speeds R-89/L-84) Balanced stance, short stride and a short path to the ball with extension through contact. Impressive fielder with soft hands and a short ¾ arm slot, throws are on target with carry ( 82 mph across the infield).  Athletic defender.
