Medium size body frame with room to get bigger and stronger. Has a high waistline. Strong legs. Athletic look and appearance. Has a spread out shoulder width stance. Slight open front foot. Hands are preloaded and has a short quick barrel separation to get to launch position to swing. Generates good bat speed to ball and hard contact results. Has good full swing finish with both hands to full extension. Power projected in the near future as he matures and gets stronger. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. As an outfielder, he showed a good solid arm action and release with good accurate strong throws to target. Had good body control and coordination. As a catcher, Lockhart displayed soft hands and instincts to catch. Quick feet and agile movements. Slight open front left foot in catching stance allows him to fire out to throw slightly quicker. 1.87-2.0 pop times. Throws were accurate. Ability to play several positions increases value for the next level as a utility player. Good upside.
