Only concern at the plate is smaller frame and lack of lower half load. He recorded exit velo of 85 and I think that could be increased when frame fills out. At third base had slow foot work and a slow release, but did show arm strength as he threw 86 mph across the diamond. Behind the plate, Kaid posted pop times of 1.85-1.97 and threw 80 mph down to second base. Kaid showed good transfer and release with good direction in his feet towards second.

Level path with average to above average bat speed. Top exit velocity of 82. Defensively, hands are sure with flat footwork. Quick transfer. Plays through the ball at times. Throws topped at 74. Behind the plate, pop times ranged between 2.07-2.12. Quick transfer to release. Feet are fluid with short, quick arm action. Throws topped at 75 from the crouch.
