6/12/18: 2019 catcher smaller athletic build. Hits from left side, slightly open simple approach. Showed a quick bat with pull side pop in bat. Sprayed line drives throughout his round of BP. Behind the dish is a good receiver with a clean exchange on throws that are quick to 2^nd. Pop times ranged from 1.95-2.0 flat.

 
3/26/18 Spring Scout Blog: Uncommitted left handed hitting junior C/OF, started in LF and hit fourth, finished 2-4 at the plate with a 2B and 2 RBIs, scored 1 Run. Good presence in the batters box, swing gets a little long and uphill but had good at bats, finds the barrel. Drove first pitch of first at bat through the right side for RBI single and finished the night with opposite field RBI double to make 1 run ball game. Has arm strength from the outfield and behind the plate, strong frame with above average bat speed.  

3/3/18:  5-foot-11, 175 pound catcher hits from an athletic, open setup.  Loads back, long stride.  Fast bat speed.  Created consistent hard contact.  Gap to gap power.  Lot of moving pieces, controlled well throughout the swing.  In the outfield, he shows fluid footwork with loose arm action.  Throws topped 85.  Behind the plate, pop times ranged between 1.92-2.01.  Quick release and footwork.  

 
9/24/17:  5-foot-11, 170 pound catcher displayed quick feet and transfer behind the plate.  Has a high setup, short arm action.  Accurate throws topped out at 74mph.   Pop times ranged between 1.92-2.02.  Hits from the left side with an athletic, open stance.  Short stride with average use of lower half.  Some athleticism in swing.  Lifts at contact.  Present gap-to-gap power.  High exit velocity of 85.
