6-foot-3, 180-pound projectable frame; RHP/1B. On the mound, he throws from a high ¾ arm angle and has quick arm speed to the plate. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher who shows some effort in his delivery. Consistent accuracy on his 12/6 curveball at 68-69 with depth. Showed some action and consistent accuracy on his fading changeup 77-78. He was clocked sitting at 80-82 mph.
6-foot-3, 190-pound RHP / 1B. On the mound, has a slow wind up but a strong and quick delivery; 3/4 arm slot; gets off the mound well to generate power; 80-82 mph FB. Locates pitches well but sometimes misses arm side. Has good depth on breaking balls and kept hitters off-balance; 67-69 mph CB. Starts batting stance with his feet even; raises his hand slightly and has a straight to the ball swing plane; 86 mph exit velocity. Hit line drives at the showcase. At 1B, shows fluid glove work and gets in good position; 81 mph position velocity. Recorded a 60 time of 7.82.
6/12/18: 2020 1B/RHP prospect with good size. Hits from the right side from tall wide base setup in box. Short stride to baseball with some bat wrap to trigger. Bat speed was average and showed line drive ability to the gaps. Bat path is slightly uphill with a high finish. On the mound pitches from over the top arm slot with head tilt towards 1B. Arm action showed some stab action in the back. Slight tilt at balance point in delivery. Repeats mechanics. FB sat 77-79 and flashed some sink from the high arm slot. CB flashed potential at 70-74.
12/16/17: 6-foot-2, 170 pound right-handed pitcher has a high 3/4 slot with average hand speed. Strike thrower. Slight run on the fastball that sat 76-78. Breaking ball has 10/4 shape with sweeping action. Change-up is thrown with near FB arm speed and has some fade. Delivery stays in line, lands square and soft. Lacks front leg extension. Right-handed hitter has a balanced setup with back hand load. Long bat path with average bat speed. Good balance throughout. Uses all fields, produced line drives.
