4/13/2019 PBR Midwest Select: Uncommitted. Diminutive 5-foot-7 quick-twitch athlete. Sure-handed in the field, ranges well. Right-handed hitter, balanced compact swing, collected a pair of hits and scored a run in the game hitting out of the leadoff spot.
4/10/2018 Spring Scout Blog: The uncommitted Kido may only be 5'6 but he caught my attention during in and out showing arguably the best actions up the middle of anyone on the field. Really smooth fluid actions with solid footwork and quick exchange as well. Showed good instincts in the field and on the base path. Hits from left side with lead off hitter profile/approach. Showed the ability to use the whole as he took an outside pitch to LF for a single (4.19 down the line) then went pull side deep to the warning track. Very interesting undersized MIF who plays hard.
