Uncommitted Large frame, strong through the shoulders. Has some strength to him. Balanced approach at plate with a good idea on how to hit. Displays good bat speed and line drive approach. Some power in swing will come out as he matures. Corner 3b and or 1b playing SS. Makes plays and can throw from left side with ease. Playing SS at this level will make him compete with range and speed that will help him later. Had a good solid clutch double in tight game and showed very high-energy emotion that sparked his team. Chance to be solid five spot hitter at the college level. Good idea to play game and showed leadership qualities.

Jake Winzenread, SS/3B, Lawrence North HS, 2022, 5 foot 9, 180 pounds, uses a simple load from a balanced setup to hit. Barrel is in a good position at launch and produces consistent solid contact and an exit velocity of 76 mph. Defensively, was sure handed with a good release but needs to get more athletic with his feet. Still a young player with plenty of room to grow.
