4/4/18 Spring Scout Blog: Uncommitted senior left handed hitting and throwing 1st baseman, hit third in the lineup. Physical frame and bat, ran into and squared up a few baseballs pull side. Pull side approach, weight tends to leak out onto the front side. Line drive swing, fluid actions at the plate with average bat speed. Good footwork and glove actions at first base, good understanding of the game and shows leadership from position. Finished 1-4 at the plate with 1 run scored.

10/8/17:  Physical 6-foot, 205 pound infielder hits from an open setup with some rhythm and bat speed.  Fluid load, high back elbow, creates a slightly uphill path to contact.  Possesses some pullside pop.  High exit velocity of 81.  Average glove with good understanding of position.  Throws from a high 3/4 slot, topping out at 80 across infield.   Left-handed pitcher has a drop and drive type delivery.  Hooks wrist in arm swing.  Good pace down the mound, stays in direction.  Lands closed, works around front leg.  Fastball peaked at 81.  Breaking ball has 10/4 shape with erratic command sitting 65-67.

5/9/17 Game Notes: Left-handed hitting corner infielder possesses bat speed in the batters box.  Creates lift at contact, potential pull side power.  Simple setup, slight leg kick in load.  Bat path is short, uphill.  Looks to pull.  Average foot speed.  Above average glove work with flat feet.
