Eric showed outstanding presence on the mound in the Valley tournament championship game on Saturday vs Rochester. The 6’3/180 sophomore was in complete control of the game for three innings. He struck out 12 in four complete innings; he fatigued in the fourth inning. Hammer's fastball is 83-84 while the change up sits 71-73. Pitches from a arm slot and gets good extension. His curveball needs to develop. He knows how to get hitters to swing and miss with two pitches.
