Body: 6-foot, 190-pound lanky frame.
Hit: (RHH) Starts in a tall stance with a smooth load, then uses a big leg kick. Explosive bat speed. High finish, upward swing. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity.
Defense: (IF) Twitchy hands, consistent footwork, clean exchange. Above average. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front.
Arm: 88 mph infield velocity. Compact arm action, high slot, consistent accuracy.
Speed: 7.36
2/23/2019: Dalton Wasson, RHP/3B, Heritage HS, 2022, 6 foot, 180 pounds, throws from a high slot with a long arm action. Fastball is straight and sat 78-80, CB has big 11/5 shape and sat 63-67, only threw one CH and it was flat and was 66 mph. Has solid delivery and arm speed, FB/CB combo should get hitters out in his age group. Offensively he ran a 7.65 and had an exit velocity of 82 mph. At the plate he has early hand load and stays back when he strides. Contact is early and out front. Showed solid 3B actions with good release and arm action across the diamond. He threw 79 mph across the diamond.
