Body: 5-foot-11, 170-pound solid athletic frame.
Hit: (RHH) Began in an open quiet stance with a tight load, then used a short stride. Quick bat speed. High finish, simple uphill swing.
Power: 98 mph exit velocity, average 94.13 mph.
Defense: (IF) Twitchy soft hands, twitchy quick exchange. Movements laterally were athletic.
Arm: 82 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, ¾ slot.
Speed: 7.14 (60-yard).
Carmel High School, Class of 2022; 5-foot-10, 165-pound 3B/2B. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter showed power in the box with an exit velocity of 90 mph. Started in a balanced stance with his bat resting on his shoulder. Uses bat tilt during his load; showed quick hands and balance throughout his swing. While in the infield, he made throws across the field up to 73 mph. Moves very well to the ball and showed athletic actions. His hands work well; he has a smooth, quick exchange. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.52. Interesting young prospect with strength and athleticism.
5-foot-10, 170-pound 2B / SS. At the plate, starts in a balanced, open stance with a high elbow; uses rhythm in hands for timing and a bat till to create a level swing plan. Shows quick hands; has a high, one-handed finish; 87 mph exit velocity. Moves well laterally in the field; showed clean actions and good glove work; 3/4 arm slot; 75 mph position velocity. Got to all balls at 3B during the showcase. Recorded a 60 time of 7.71.
