Levi Mavrick: SS/RHP, (2022) Eastern Howard, IN. 5-foot-10, 150-pound lean frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 82 mph. Started in a balanced stance with a small load, then used a short stride right before his swing. A short swing plane. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 77 mph; had Soft hands and a clean exchange. Used a ¾ slot and a short arm action. Recorded a 60 time of 7.5 at the event. On the mound, had lightning arm speed to the plate with a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows high effort. Produced a fastball that came in at 75-76 mph. Slider (65-66 mph).Shows sinking action and command around the zone on his changeup (66-67).

Eastern Howard High School, Class of 2022; 5-foot-9, 145-pound RHP/2B. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 76 mph. Starts in balanced stance with a slight bend in his knees. Keeps his bat flat on his shoulder and uses a small leg kick; has a level swing plane and a level, one-handed finish. In the infield, he showed his ability to throw 74 mph across the diamond. Moved to the ball well; his glove worked. Showed quick movements, athletic actions and a consistent, quick exchange. Made accurate throws from a ¾ slot. During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.89. On the mound, he is a drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses a quick arm action. He located all pitches for strikes and had a good outing, showing his ability to produce strike outs and pop flies. His fastball was clocked sitting at 74-75 mph and topped out at 75 mph. He showed the most control on his curveball (61-63 mph) when he stayed on top.

Young prospect, lacks strength and bat speed, good bat control with level swing to middle pull side. Weight heavy on back side to start in open stance, uses big leg lift to load with short stride, narrow base to swing. Short stride and hand path to the baseball, bat drags through the hitting zone to extension. Defensively, short choppy actions from the left side to field, stops feet and momentum to field. Short arm action, low ¾ arm slot, lacks arm strength across the diamond. Average glove actions with flat footwork through the baseball, front side spin to throw.

Pitching: Undersized right hander on the mound, clean delivery with small inward turn at the top, showed young feel on the mound. Arm strength and velocity still to come, but showed ability to repeat delivery, regular effort with clean arm swing. Fastball sat at 71-72, topped at 73, erratic at times, pulled and missed glove side. Curveball was thrown 60-62, normal gradual break, pops up and drops in for a strike.
