10/15/17:  5-foot-11, 180 pound  outfielder ran a 7.02 60 yard dash.  Hits from a slight crouch, balanced setup.  Short stride, slightly closed off.  Minimal hand load.  Good rhythm.  Average bat speed.  Compact swing with some extension post-contact.  Line drive approach in all fields.  High exit velocity of 72.  Good footwork in the outfield.  Shows the ability to take good angles and play through the baseball.  High 3/4 slot with throws topping 74mph.  

 
2017 Spring Scout Blog:  Sophomore left-handed hitting outfield has quick foot speed.  Moves well in the outfield.  Average arm strength.  In the box, Eggers has a balanced setup with small hand load.  Short stride, good rhythm.  Average barrel speed.  Gets down the line well.
