Has a high-effort motion and a quick, short arm action; locates well on arm side; uses leg kick and momentum to generate power; shows ability to pound inside with FB; 81-84 mph FB. Locates CH very well on arm side and low in the zone; 74-75 mph CH; CB has depth when he stays on top; 69-72 mph CB. During game, kept hitters off balance; created ground balls; showed pitch ability by throwing all pitches for strikes.
6/12/18: Tall 2020 RHP out of Fishers. Pitches from high ¾ arm slot. Arm action is short with average speed that is stiff. Tempo to plate is choppy at times. Lands in line with shoulders level to the plate. Good balance through delivery. FB sat 77-81. Flashed 11/5 shape CB with gradual late break at 67-69 for strikes. Also mixed in CH with good fading and sink action at 72-73.
