October 2015: The Purdue recruit is one of the fastest-rising prospects in the Midwest, and is yet another hard-throwing prospect in Indiana’s 2016 class. Bohm has a large 6-foot-2, 220-pound frame with wide shoulders and strong lower half. Pitching for Team Indiana/Lids, Bohm pitched at 88-90, touching 91, with arm-side life. He also flashed at times a sharp 75-77 slider with late bite.

4/3/15 GAME NOTES: Possesses a strong, athletic frame. First year starting behind the dish. Showed good hands behind the plate. Has some rawness defensively (1st year catching), but possesses the athleticism, arm strength and instincts to become a solid receiver. Athletic enough to play multiple positions on the field. The RHH's bat projects well at the next level. Hands work at the plate. Possesses strength with some whip. Serves as the Royals clean-up hitter. Strong follow uncommitted 2016.
6/25/14: 6 foot- 2 inches/ 205 pounds, 4.78-H-1st, Strong and athletic. He has a short, quick arm from a ¾ slot. Fastball is 81-82 and in the zone, curveball is 68-70 and he spots his changeup at 71 mph. At the plate he hits from balanced stance with a short stride and a long path to the ball.
2/22/14: 6-foot-2, 210 pound sophomore was 76 mph across the diamond from a short arm action. Defensively displayed average hands with average feet. Exchange is clean and plays through the baseball. At the plate starts balanced with really high hands. Stride is short and shows early rhythm. Shows some lift in the swing. Possesses strength with some power potential. Registered an exit velo of 83 mph. On the mound throws from a high 3/4 slot with above average arm speed. High effort type pitcher. Fastball showed downward action at 83-85 with a little sink. Spins the breaking ball at 71-72 with little break. 73-76 mph changeup shows some sink action with fastball arm speed.
10/9/19: On the bump, redshirt junior RHP Andrew Bohm flashed solid feel for an above-average changeup that paired nicely with his 88-89 mph heater, striking out two of the five hitters he faced with the offering – one chasing and one looking. The cambio is a true weapon, coming with good arm speed deception and quality arm-side fade. The righty threw one slider, as well, at 81 mph with average bite. Bohm was loose in the zone with the fastball, leading to two hard-hit balls on heaters that caught too much white – a single through the left side (senior OF Skyler Hunter) and a deep triple to the right-center gap (senior C Bryce Bonner). Bohm will look to build off of a 2019 campaign that saw him tie for the team lead in strikeouts (73) and in which he fanned five or more hitters in nine of his 12 starts. (Granger)
