Hit: (RHH) Begins in an athletic open stance with a smooth load, then uses a small leg kick. Quick bat speed. Good extension on his finish, simple swing. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 87 mph exit velocity, average 74.67 mph. 70.80 mph bat speed average. 21.88 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (C) 2.00-2.06 pop times. Fluid footwork. Solid. Some flexibility and narrow setup. (IF) Sure hands, fluid exchange.
Arm: 84 mph outfield velocity. 75 mph catcher velocity. An-over-the-top slot.
Speed: 7.22 (60-yard).

Sets up in a wide stance then uses a leg kick. Uphill swing plane. Through the round he found multiple barrels. Up the middle approach. Behind the plate, recorded a pop time of 2.03-2.17, throw downs to second topped out at 75 mph; had athletic footwork and Soft hands. Showed a short arm action on his throws. Clocked a time of 7.41 in the 60-yard dash.

Shows a good skill set behind the plate with good feet and a good release. Recorded pop times of 2.16-2.18 and threw 71 mph from the crouch. Alonzo’s skill set and swing will make him an interesting follow as he continues to mature physically.
