10/9/16:  The physical 5-foot-11, 205 pound catcher showcased pop times that range between 2.03-2.13.  Throws topped at 74mph.  Arm action is short with fluid footwork.  Offensively, Saulman has rhythm and a line drive approach.  Consistently hit balls into the gaps.  Pat is level with some extension.  

10/18/15: 5-foot-11, 195 pounder has a physical frame and was 2.10-2.19 with his pop times and 77 from the crouch.  Possesses arm strength from a long arm action.  Feet are quick.  Offensively hits from an open, crouch type setup.  Drops hands during the load.  Long stride.  Lower half collapses at times.  Possesses above average bat speed with a level path to the ball.  Gap-to-gap type power.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 87 mph.  

9/21/14: 5-foot-10, 192 pound catcher registered pop times of 2.07-2.19 with good feet and a clean exchange.  Possesses a strong arm at 74 mph from the crouch.  Possesses a good frame for a catcher with flexibility and strength.  Possesses soft, quiet hands while receiving.  Overall above average receiver for a 2017.  As he gains experience and continues to grow should continue to improve.  Offensively, starts open with a smooth load back.  Stride is short with above average bat speed (82 mph exit velo).  Gets to extension well with pull-side power.  Fluid rhythm throughout his swing.
