In the box, Dowling shows a simple powerful swing that is direct to the ball. He is able to generate easy power and finds barrels driving the ball to all parts of the field. He also came in relief during their first game, closing it out with a fastball sitting 77-79 mph, topping at 81 mph, along with a curveball sitting 66-68mph.
