Lake Land College commit, and three-sport athlete for the Spartans put together a strong start for the 24th ranked team in the state. The projectable right-hander stands in at 6-foot-3, 170-pounds with room left to fill out the frame. He has a simple and repeatable stretch-only delivery that stays in-line toward home plate. Hallahan possesses a short, quick arm that sat 86-89 mph (T90) with his fastball, showing 2-seam action often back-dooring right-handed hitters. For swings and misses, he showed advanced feel for a 12/6 curveball that he could throw in any count. Hallahan also showed the ability to pitch out of trouble numerous times, keeping a calm and cool demeanor on the hill and trusting his stuff to get him out of jams. The future Laker will give the Spartans a shot to win every time he takes the ball this season, and will be worth following the rest of the year.
