6-foot-3, 225-pound, extra-large, imposing, right-handed pitcher. Was flawless in his four-inning stint out of the bullpen for Lincoln-Way Central. Went four innings, no hits, no runs, struck out six and walked one. Long arm action, slight plunge on the backside, and comes out of a high ¾ slot. Fastball, plays up, works mostly straight, 82-83 mph. Slider, was his go-to secondary offering, received a number of swing-and-misses, late 10/4 action, 76-77 mph.
2.19.18 - 6-foot-3, 225-pound, strong-bodied, two-way prospect. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, linear drop and drive delivery, works on-line. Loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball pounded the strike zone, sinking action at times, 77-79 mph. Threw a curveball and a slider. Slider worked 10/4 66-68 mph. Curveball 12/6 to 11/5 shape, 64-66 mph. Changeup, sat 65-68 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter, balanced, closed setup, short stride and long, uphill bat path. Flashed strength through contact, 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, steady hands, long arm action, high ¾ slot and throws topped at 80 mph. 7.82 runner in the 60.
