5.15.18- Miami (OH) commit, currently ranked No. 92 in the Illinois 2018’ class. 5-foot-10, 160-pound, two-way prospect. Started on the mound and hit in the four-hole for the North Stars. Left-handed pitcher went 6.1 innings, scattered seven hits, three runs, one earned, struck out six and walked one. Tall and fall delivery, repeatable, works with rhythm and minimal effort throughout. Arm works, clean and quick, ¾ slot. Worked mainly with a fastball/slider combination throughout. Fastball comes out easy, late arm-side run, sat 85-86 mph early on. Slider, maintains arm speed, 2/7 shape, short break, feel, 77-78 mph. Flashed a few changeups, fade action. At the plate, left-handed hitter, relaxed, open setup, quiet load. Short, quick stroke, feel for the barrel, flashed sneaky pop. Finished 0-for-3 with a walk. Flew out to the right-field warning track in his final at-bat.

6.15.17 - 5-foot-10, 160-pound left-handed hitting OF/LHP with a small, athletic frame. At the plate hits from a tall, open setup with a low handset. Smooth load with a short stride and good balance. Line drive hitter with a level swing path. 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 6.84. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top slot. Plays thru the ball with fluid footwork. Threw 83 mph from the outfield. Three pitch feel on the mound. Works from a ¾ arm angle with a long, quick arm action. Tall and fall delivery working in line with home plate. Athletic finish with good balance and smooth rhythm. Fastball sat 83-84 mph for strikes. Curveball has 12-6 shape with short breaking action at 73-77 mph. Maintains arm speed on changeup with running action at 74-77 mph for strikes.

4.26.17 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound, lean, medium,  athletic frame. Left/left two-way prospect but played the outfield on this day. Defensively, good routes and reads in the outfield. Offensively, good approach at the plate, bat speed and a flat swing through the zone. Speed guy, puts pressure on the defense and looks to be aggressive on the bases. Ran a 4.32 from the left side but was late out of the box, better runner on the way. 

2.19.17 - 5-foot-10, 155-pound, two-way prospect. On the mound, left-handed pitcher, three-pitch feel and easy effort. Arm works short, loose and clean from a ¾ slot. Smooth delivery, stays on-line and lands square. Fastball, flashed life, arm-side-run and sat 83-84 mph. Changeup looks to be his best secondary offering; feel, sink, fade action and sat 76-79 mph. Curveball, short break, 71-75 mph. Offensively, left-handed hitter, tall, open setup, smooth load, drops his hands, toe-tap stride and good balance throughout. Repeatable, simple swing, short, level bat path, line-drive approach with the ability to backspin the baseball and uses the whole field. 85 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, fluid footwork, plays through the baseball with steady hands. Over-the-top arm action, accurate throws with carry clocked at 86 mph. 7.01 runner in the 60.

10.16.16 -5-foot-10, 155-pound, athletic, two-way prospect. On the mound, left handed pitcher, drop and drive delivery, smooth rhythm, stays in line, lands square. Quick arm from a high ¾ slot. Fastball, arm side run, sat 82-83 mph. Curveball, feel, 1/7 shape, sharp action, 72-75 mph. Changeup, thrown for strikes, maintains arm speed, 75-76 mph. Offensively, left-handed hitter, line drive approach, short path through the zone; exit velocity registered at 82 mph. Tall, open setup, reverse toe tap, maintains balance through contact. Defensively, reliable hands, plays through the baseball. Long arm action from a high ¾ slot; throws clocked at 85 mph. 6.98 runner in the laser timed 60.

1.17.16 - 5-foot-8, 155-pound, left-handed hitting OF/LHP. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a long arm action. Tall and fall online delivery with easy effort. Short leg lift to balance point with smooth rhythm and an athletic finish. Showed feel for three pitches throwing them down in the zone for strikes. Fastball showed slight running action at 78-80 topping out at 81 mph. Curveball showed 2-8 shape with tight rotation and sharp action at 69-71 mph. Maintained armspeed on changeup at 70-72 mph. Offensively hits from a tall, open stance. Short stride back to even with good balance. Short, level swing path with fluid rhythm. 81 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.10. Defensively has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot. Throws showed carry at 79 mph. Plays thru the ball with a slower exchange.

7.15.15 - 5-foot-6, 140-pound, left-handed hitting outfielder and left-handed pitcher. Got the start on the mound for the Saturday afternoon game at Trout Park. Works from a high ¾ arm slot. Fastball sat 74-77 with slight run. Also threw a breaking ball and change-up. Went to the change-up more often than the breaking ball. Change-up was 71 mph with some feel. Went 2.1 innings, struck out four, allowed two hits, walked one and did not give up a run. Also, had a good day at the plate. Went 2-2 with a run scored and a stolen base.
