2/16/14 Xavier recruit. 5-foot-11, 170-pound infielder. Advanced defensive actions, exchange is quick and clean, gets baseball into throwing slot highly efficiently, hands are soft. Arm action is short and loose, athletic arm action, produces carry, 80 mph across the diamond. Also ran a 6.94 in the 60. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, short stride, maintains balance through contact. Bat path is short, level through the zone, two handed finish. 90 mph exit velocity from the tee.
10/20/13 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound infielder. Displayed one of the most well-rounded skill sets at the showcase. Showed excellent foot speed, ran a 7.0 60. Defensively showcased soft hands, natural infield instincts, quick footwork. Advanced actions, athletic body control, efficient release of the baseball, plays well on the move. Short arm action from over the top at 82 mph with carry and accuracy. At the plate he has a balanced, slightly open stance and short stride. Swing mechanics are advanced and repeated with ease. Showed power from gap to gap, middle to opposite field approach. Exit velocity was 89 mph off a tee.
