5/25/13 - Signed at Lewis University. 5-foot-8, 150-pound right-hander; indeed, has small frame but it’d be foolish to underestimate him. Threw a no-hitter against then-No. 22 Lemont, with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk. Works fast and throws high-volume of strikes (78 pitches, 54 strikes). Commands strike zone with three pitches, most notably a 71-75 mph slider that he consistently kept below the knees. Hitters had no chance with his slider. Throws three pitches from same window, working from 3/4 arm slot, some effort in delivery. Fastball sat 81-84 mph; changeup in the 71-74 range. Bulldog mentality on the mound. Previous start he threw a five-hit shutout against St. Rita.
