Has one of the best sliders in the state and routinely showed it off in his outing. Thrown aggressively, advanced spin, 10/4 shape,can throw it for strikes and expand with two strikes, swing-and-miss offering even when in the zone; 77-79 mph. Fastball, around the zone, lively, inconsistent action, tendency to cut it when throwing to his glove side; sat 84-87 mph, touched 88. Did not see a changeup.

Creighton commit. 6-foot, 175-pound right-handed starting pitcher, well-proportioned build with tons of athleticism. Got the start going 6 innings on three hits (one hard hit), three runs, two earned, three walks with ten punchouts. Works from the first base side of the rubber with present tempo, sturdy balance, heel lifted and high hands, gears up with slight coil and sit on back side, strides short and works slightly across his body, toe strikes closed, athletic finish. Full arm action with show on back side, loose throughout with quickness out front, ¾ slot, effort is easy. Fastball had present run and sink, hard at times, seemed to cut it occasionally, struggled to spot it up throughout the game, 82-85 mph, topped 86 mph. Slider was his go to, sharp and wipeout entire game, present depth and swing and miss action on 10/4 plane, 75-79 mph. For his ten Ks, eight of them finished on the slider, present feel for it, spins it tight and repeats. Athletic feet on his pickoffs, executed a 1st to 3rd move to get out of a jam, holds runners well.
2/10/19 - Creighton commit. 6-foot-0, 175-pound right-handed pitcher, lean wiry frame. Easy delivery, works to stay balanced, lands square, closed toe, slightly closed direction adds to deception. Arm action is long and loose, plus arm speed for his age, high ¾ slot. Fastball played with varying action, occasional run, sink, showed control around the zone, 85-86 mph, topped at 87 mph. Power slider is sharp, late action, 10/4 shape, showed feel for zone, plus pitch, swing and miss type, 79-80 mph. Changeup sinks, showed feel at bottom of zone, near fastball arm speed, 82-83 mph. High leverage reliever profile at the next level.

Delivery slightly coils at the top with toe lift to balance point, sits on back side, high front side. Arm action is loose and easy out front, finishes the baseball, high ¾ slot. Fastball is live with late hard sink, sat 84-86 mph. Slider is plus, hard convicted action, late 11/5 shape, almost slurve type at times, 78-80 mph, swing and miss out pitch, showed ability to throw for strikes and expand the zone. High follow uncommitted 2020 arm.
2.19.18 - 5-foot-11, 155 pound lanky, athletic right handed pitcher with plenty room for physical development. Hybrid delivery, tilt and topple style, extension with lower half, wraps shoulders at balance point, gets back in line directionally, athletic finish out front. Short, loose arm action, clean, quick arm speed, high ¾ slot and easy effort throughout. Heavy sinking fastball, down in the zone, sat 83-85 mph. Slider had 11/5 late break, present arm speed, plus pitch with depth, sat 75-76 mph. Changeup flashed sink, a little stiff, ranged from 74-78 mph.
