Hillsdale College commit. Tenuta has been a two-way standout in the state for the past three seasons, already holding two IHSA All-State selections to his name and a Metro Conference Player of the Year award. In his three years on varsity, St. Francis went 69-32 with three Regionals and a Sectional Championship. At the plate this past season, Tenuta turned in a .491 batting average in 106 at-bats with five home runs, one triple, 10 doubles, 33 RBIs, 36 runs scored, an OBP of .596, SLG % of .745, OPS of 1.341, and perhaps his most impressive stat - 19 walks to only four strikeouts. On the mound, the right-hander fired 61.2 innings to pair with an 8-3 record, 89 strikeouts, 0.63 ERA and nine complete games.
Hillsdale College commit. Tenuta went 5-for-11 (.455) with two home runs and five RBIs. In their 3-1 win over Wheaton, he went 1-for-2 at the plate with a home run, two RBIs, a run scored and two walks. He also threw 1.1 innings in relief, striking out two, allowing one unearned run. In their 4-0 win over Wheaton, Tenuta went 1-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and a run scored. He also threw a complete game shutout with 15 strikeouts, two walks and one hit allowed.

Body: 5-10, 185-pounds. Compact stocky build. Strong lower half.
Hit: RHH. Open, balanced setup. Short stride. Strong hands, long path, controlled intent, hard gap-to-gap contact.
Power: 96.7 max exit velocity, averaged 85.8 mph. 340’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 84 mph. Quick arm action, high 3/4 slot. Throws play with carry.
Defense: Steady hands, balanced footwork, efficient infield actions.
Run: 7.56 runner in the 60.
Positional Profile: SS/3B
Body: 5-foot-9, 180-pounds. Strong lower half.
Hit: RHH. Crouched, open stance, hands held away from the body, minimal load, short stride to even. Strong hands, quick bat speed, short uphill bat plane, line drives to all fields.
Power: 88.94 max exit velocity, averaged 82.8 mph. 250’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 79 mph. Short clean arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Pre-pitch hop, gets around the baseball, soft hands, no wasted movement.
Run: 8.09 runner in the 60.
