Stretch only delivery, closed setup, knee coils at balance point, shoulders uphill, works cross body and toe lands open, athletic finish. Arm stabs back at hand break, long action, high ¾ slot. Fastball, ran early out of hand, favored arm side, topped 83 mph, 80-82 mph. Slider, gradual 2/8 break, 73 mph.
2.19.18 - 6-foot, 155 pound, lanky, left handed pitching prospect. Tall and fall delivery, cross bodied style, high front side, closed landing, some athleticism in finish. Quick tempo, long, loose arm action, occasional stab on back side, high ¾ slot, regular effort throughout. Fastball, arm side run, 81-83 mph. Curveball, 1/7 shape, sweeps when arm speed is maintained, 66-67 mph. Changeup had good fade, in the zone, ranged 72-75 mph.
