Michigan commit, currently ranked No. 22 in the Illinois 2022 class. Strong, well-proportioned frame, standing 5-foot-11, 180-pounds. Hit out of the five-hole and started behind the plate for Marist on Saturday. The right-handed hitter put together a number of impressive at-bats, finding multiple barrels including a laser-beam single in his final at-bat. His swing is loose and flat through the zone, possessing easy bat-speed with a fluid rhythm throughout his entire operation. Behind the plate, Voss has extremely receptive and soft hands; working to present pitches around the zone. From the crouch, he remains in-line on throws down to second and transitions into a quick/clean transfer. His arm plays true on throws down the second, back-spinning with carry to the bag, flashing a 1.99 pop in warmups.

Voss, a Michigan recruit, has not slowed down, and continues to trend upwards as a prospect in the midwest when looking towards 2022. Physical with a barrel-chested frame with compact strength throughout his 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame, he utilizes it well at the plate with firm contact to all fields. He remains compact to the frame throughout the swing as the quick hands and strong forearms allow for advanced bat speed with a more controlled approach. Voss seems to find the barrel in every at-bat, and did so for much of this tournament as well. Stats: 5-for-13, 3B, 2x2B, 2R, 5RBI
