Chico got the call to start game one of the weekend for CRB and delivered a stellar outing. Over five innings of work, Chico allowed just one hit, one walk, and no runs. Later in the weekend, Chico made a relief appearance in their semi-final victory where he tossed two and one-thirds scoreless to help his team advance. The 5-foot-7, 136-pound, right-hander was able to run his fastball up to 77 mph with a slider that generated swings-and-misses to pair. All in all, Chico’s age and frame suggest that he will be able to add during his high school years which makes the to-be freshman an interesting follow.
