A powerful, 5-foot-10, 200-pound built frame, Watson had a good all-around game for the USA Prime IL. The right-hander started the game on the mound where he would toss two and a third innings allowing three earned runs, one hit, four walks, and two strikeouts. The fastball was sitting 75-79 mph and the curveball was at 68 mph. Watson showed well in a fluid motion that is followed by quick and clean arm action. Where Waston stood out was with the bat, as the right-handed hitter went 2-for-2 with a home run, single, and a walk. With a simple powerful swing that keeps the barrel in the zone, Watson was able to drive a deep homerun over the left field wall. He showed a good approach at the plate, attacking early in counts. As the summer moves along Watson will be a name to follow with the bat. Watson in his game against DuPage Training Academy went 2-for-2 having a single and a two run homer.
