A filled-out, 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame, Flanagan had a good outing on the mound against the USA Prime IL. The right-hander tossed five innings allowing two runs, four hits, and four walks while striking out three. His fastball wasn’t overpowering sitting at 67-71mph, but the sink and tail of the pitch had fooled hitters. Flanagan was able to use this movement to his advantage generating a good amount of soft contact and whiffs. The righty was also able to attack hitters filling up the zone and letting his defense work behind him.
