5-foot-6, 135-pound frame with lean, twitchy strength. Hit leadoff and started at shortstop for the Trojans in this look, also the starting quarterback for the Trojans’ football team. Did a little bit of everything offensively in this look; singled and scored Maroa-Forsyth’s first run, drew two walks, and stole two bases. Simple and direct right-handed swing, stays short through the zone with twitch and minimal swing-and-miss. Has the profile to be an asset defensively on the infield. In pregame, showed soft, clean, and fluid glovework with a quick release. Covered ground effortlessly to both sides with a quick first step and above-average footspeed for age. Loose, lively arm produced natural carry across the diamond, comfortable working from a lower arm angle on the move. Checks all the boxes of an advanced defender up the middle at the next level. A gamer, do-it-all type that’s still uncommitted.
