On the mound, right-handed pitcher, stretch-only delivery, slight drop and drive, works on-line and lands front-toe slightly closed. Long, loose arm action works from a high ¾ slot. Fastball has life through the zone, works straight, sat 87-88 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, occasional depth, 64-68 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed, feel, slight fade, ranged between 71-76 mph. Offensively, right-handed hitter, wide setup, pre-pitch load, toe-raise stride, quick hands, pull approach and present bat strength; 99 mph exit velocity from a tee. Defensively, loose, quick arm action, ¾ slot and throws topped at 86 mph. Ran a 7.25 laser-timed 60.
2.19.18 - 5-foot-9, 158-pound, lanky two-way prospect. Right-handed pitcher, high ¾ arm slot, quick arm speed, some effort in delivery. Fastball, sinking action at times, sat 78-80 mph, touched 81. Curveball maintains arm speed, in between 11/5 and 10/4 shape, gradual action, 64-66 mph. Changeup, sat 69-71 mph. At the plate, right-handed hitter, wide setup, long and level bat path. Registered an exit velocity of 82 mph from a tee. Defensively, in the outfield, throws from a low ¾ slot and throws topped at 80 mph. Ran a 7.61 laser timed 60.
