Parkland Scout Day: Works down the hill with good pitching lines to the plate. Good extension out front from a H3/4 release point. Fluid delivery. Very good arm action. Consistently in the zone with a three pitch arsenal. Sat 89-92 with his 2-seamer while mixing in a sharp 79-80 mph slider with tight spin and an 83 mph change-of-pace.
2.19.18 - 6-foot-1, 165 pound, lean, right handed pitching prospect. Drop and drive delivery, no wasted movements, directionally straight, square landing, athletic finish. Short, loose arm on back side, quick out front out of a ¾ slot, regular effort throughout. Fastball was straight, firm, at 82-84 mph, topped 86 mph. Curveball had 11/5 shape, up in the zone, early release, sat 71-73 mph. Changeup, straight movement, maintains arm speed, showed feel, 79-82 mph.
