Moerman was batting .667 in the playoffs with five RBIs before picking up four more hits and driving in the game winning run in the 10th inning for the Porters in this sectional semi-final matchup. Simple stance in the box with a slight bend in the knees, uses a short stride to start the swing. Moerman showed strength in the bat with a double to the left-center gap in his first at-bat of the game. Over at first base, Moerman is a sure-handed first baseman who can pick the baseball and has clean, athletic feet around the bag.
