The lean 6-foot-2, 170-pounder proved himself to be a legitimate two-way player, and should be one of the more coveted Class of 2012 prospects in the state. On the mound, Johansmeier impressed by displaying a fastball that topped at 88 mph with an easy arm action. Johansmeier showed a feel for all pitches with a curveball that displayed tight spin and late movement, and changeup which showed good movement down in the zone. In the field, he showcased the best infield arm at the event 89 mph across the infield. He also demonstrated good rhythm and footwork while taking fundamentally sound routes to the baseball. Offensively, Johansmeier displayed a level, line-drive swing. Two-way talent: showed mid-80s velocity on mound and strong bat at the plate.
