Jarvis is a wide-shouldered 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-hander who shows tremendous upside on the mound. Using a strong lower half and coming from a high ¾ arm slow, Jarvis sat at 83 mph with his fastball. He has a quick, easy arm, one that should continue to get stronger in the coming years. Like his fastball, Jarvis’ 73-mph changeup had late sinking action, and projects to be a plus pitch as well. As a position player, Jarvis had excellent footwork around first base and demonstrated some power potential.
