On the mound, the right-handed pitcher showed athleticism with a whippy arm action that saw a fastball that sat in the mid-to-upper 70s and topped at 79 mph, flashing a breaking ball with quality movement. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showcased a simple setup with a leg kick that allowed the rising freshman to get into a strong position to hit. He did have a slightly upward swing path but showed athletic hands. The frame and athleticism of Schapendonk are present things to follow.
