Positional Profile: RHP. Recent Central Michigan commit.
Body: 6-foot, 185-pounds. Durable, compact frame, present strength throughout.
Delivery: Sturdy balance, weight stays over rubber, strides in-line to home, toe lands closed, smooth rhythm with an athletic and controlled finish.
Arm Action: RH. Arm draws long out of glove, loose throughout and quick out front, short high 3/4 window, easy effort.
FB: T90, 88-89 mph. Showed same plane run with occasional sink, thrown for strikes.
CB: 71-72 mph. 11/5 shape with gradual, short break, near fastball arm speed, backed up.
CH: 79-81 mph. Feel for changeup, aggressive arm speed with sinking action at bottom of the zone.
2/10/19 - 6-foot-0, 185-pound right-handed pitcher, strong build on compact frame, athletic body type. Athletic delivery, works uptempo, works directional landing closed, finishes to first base side, regular effort. Arm action is long and quick, arm strength over arm speed, ¾ slot. Fastball runs to arm side, firm heavy finish, 86-87 mph, touched 88 mph. Slider plays 10/4, near fastball arm speed, 71-73 mph, occasional back up action. Changeup showed feel, varying action, 80-81 mph.
10.14.18 - 6-foot, 175-pound right-handed pitcher, strong compact build. Tall and fall type delivery, lands square, athletic finish, smooth delivery with tempo. Above average arm strength, action is loose and long, ¾ slot. Fastball showed arm side run, thrown for strikes, 84-86 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, 68-70 mph. Changeup sinks slightly to arm side, near fastball arm speed, 77-79 mph.
4.11.18 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound, right-handed pitcher. Came out of the bullpen and got the save for Normal U-High. Did not allow a hit and struck out one in his one inning of work. Extremely easy effort throughout delivery; looks like he is playing catch. Fastball sat 84-85 mph, touched 86; occasional sinking action. Curveball sat 69-70 mph. Saw one changeup at 77 mph. Follow 2020 right-handed pitcher.
3.14.18 - 5-foot-11, 170-pound right handed pitcher, athletic, solid build. Tall and tall delivery, slightly closed landing, easy effort through delivery. Loose, short arm action, quick arm out front and high ¾ slot. Fastball sinking action when down in the zone, around the zone, sat 80-84 mph, topped 86 mph. Curveball, 11/5 shape, tumbled early out of the hand, 69-71 mph. Changeup cut at times 74-75 mph. Started on the mound for the Pioneers gaining the victory going five strong innings, allowing three hits, four runs, fanning six.
2.18.18 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed pitcher. Tall and fall type delivery with minimal effort, works easily on line, little wasted movements, lands square. Arm action is long, works from a ¾ slot. Fastball showed slight arm side run, sat 84-85 mph, well above average arm strength for age, occasionally underneath the baseball. Curveball played 11/5, stayed mostly to arm side, 70-71 mph. Changeup sits 77-80 mph, arm side action with sink, above average feel.
