Presenting a strong and athletic 6-foot, 175-pound frame, Babbs (Dunlap, 2027) came to play for Wow Factor in their game against Canes Indiana. At the plate, Babbs went 1-for-1 as he hit a deep double to left center hitting the wall on a bounce. Mechanically, the right handed batter bats with high hands and a wide slightly crouched stance. He has a medium leg kick and is quick to turn on the ball. His swing is compact as he keeps his bat close to his body. In addition to his offense, Babbs shoved on the mound as well. The righty came in to relief in the third inning, only pitching two innings, giving up zero earned runs, three hits, and zero walks. Babb’s fastball touched 79 mph as it sat 77-78 with a sharp 69 mph slider.
